Google Ditch Microsoft Windows Over the System Security

June 1, 2010 (ABCNews.in) – The worlds largest web search engine group Google Inc. is moving out from the use of Microsoft Corp’s Windows Operating System because of security concerns. According to the source The Chinese people hacked the operating system, Financial Times reported on Tuesday.

According to the FT source, Citing several Google employees they’ve take the decision to move away from the Windows Operating system and use the other operating system including Apple Inc’s Mac Os and Open source Linux began in earnest in January after Google’s Chinese Operations were hacked.

The world’s well known Internet Security firm McAfee Inc reported at the time when the actually cyber attacks on Google and other businesses had exploited a previously unknown flaw in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser, which was vulnerable on all recent versions of Windows.

One of the Google Employee as saying: We are not doing any more windows. simultaneously the other unnamed employee said that it is a security effort, “Getting a new Windows machine now requires CIO (chief information officer) approval.”

The new recruiters at Google, which hire more than 10,000 people world wide, they allegedly given the opinion to use of Apple Mac Os or Linux- loaded operating system computers, rather than windows based PC.
According to the report of FT: Those employees who want to run the Windows Operating system on their machines now they need to seek out clearance from ”quite senior levels’.

Google CEO said in a statement: “We’re always working to improve the efficiency of our business, but we do not comment on specific operational matters.”
